Tu rol diario
- Perform predictive and corrective maintenance on facility assets and complete scheduled preventative maintenance, to ensure the highest degree of reliability in a safe and cost effective manner
- Demonstrate an absolute commitment to safety
- Perform time critical repairs on packaging and production equipment
- Assist engineering and maintenance with projects and equipment upgrades
- Maintain, repair, upgrade, install and test electrical controls and equipment
- Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications
- Maintains record of work performed on a daily log sheet and preventative maintenance documents
- Ensure all Health and Safety regulations are followed as per regulations
Tu perfil
- High School education required
- Journeyman Electrician Certification (442A or 309A)
- Certificate of Apprenticeship required
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an industrial environment
- Food processing background is considered an asset
- PLC Programming and troubleshooting skills - would be an asset
- Ability ro read, interpret, and appropriately apply diagrams, OEM manuals, schematics, and blueprints
- Experience installing and maintaining power distribution systems, automation systems, lighting, and building wiring
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Strong mechanical aptitude is necessary
- Proven ability to work effectively as a team
- This position requires rotational shift work and weekends
- Pay rate is $37.10/hr
