Your daily role

Under the authority of the Quebec regional engineering director, the position holder will be responsible for managing all aspects of the operation of the wastewater treatment plant, demonstrating decisive decision-making skills for ensure optimal performance.

  • Lead and manage the operations of the wastewater treatment plant, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Strategically manage the team to resolve operational challenges and improve process control and maintenance efficiency.
  • Test directly the processing phases and adjust parameters for increased efficiency.
  • Meticulously oversee operational reporting, budgets and optimize resource allocation for capital projects.
  • Foster strategic collaborations with external partners, management of waste flows and the implementation of sustainable improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with safety programs and regulatory standards.
  • Respond quickly to emergencies and liaise effectively with stakeholders.

Your profile

  • An experience in water or wastewater treatment is required.
  • Master of the use of the computer, Microsoft Office and the editorial staff of emails.
  • Baccalaureate or higher diploma, must hold a diploma in environmental engineering or science (environmental sciences, chemistry, biological sciences or mathematics)
  • Management and leadership skills.
