Seasonal Harvest Operators harvest Peas and Corn that is taken to our plant in Lethbridge to be processed and then packaged for our customers. The opeartors work on a DuPont schedule which provides an excellent work life balance for the summer months!
Peas run July & August and Corn runs September - Mid October (weather permitting)
Wages start at $21.15/hr with premiums for Night shift and Sundays!
Expected Start date July 2, 2023.
Your daily role
Your key responsibilities include:
- Operating Harvesting Machines
- Servicing harvesters (greasing, washing, fueling and assisting mechanics)
- Maintain safe procedures
Your profile
- Ability to climb, bend and crouch
- Ability to take and follow directions
- Ability to sit/stand for 12 hours per day
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Able to work outdoors in variable weather
- Must be able to work some weekends
- Must be available to work rotating shift
- CSA approved footwear is required.
- Must possess valid Class 5 License
