At Nortera we harvest peas and corn that is grown in the surrounding area of Taber. These fresh vegetables are harvested by our Seasonal Combine Operators in the Taber area and then transported to our Lethbridge facility. They come straight from the field to be washed, frozen, packaged, and shipped.
We are currently accepting applications for our seasonal corn operators in Taber, AB. No experience required, training provided.
1 Month Contract Approximatly Early September - Early October

Seasonal Harvest Operators harvest Peas and Corn that is taken to our plant in Lethbridge to be processed and then packaged for our customers. The opeartors work on a 12 hour 4-5-5 schedule rotating bewtween nights and days.
Corn runs Early September - Early October (weather permitting)
Wages start at $21.73/hr with premiums for Night shift ($1.00) and Sundays($1.50)!
Expected Start date of September 3, 2024.

Your daily role
Your key responsibilities include:
- Operating Combines;
- Assisting in the cleaning of combines;;
- Maintain safe procedures.
Your profile
- Ability to climb, bend and crouch
- Ability to take and follow directions
- Ability to sit/stand for 12 hours per day
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Able to work outdoors in variable weather
- Must be able to work some weekends and holidays
- Must be available to work rotating shift
- CSA approved footwear is required.
- Must possess valid Class 5 License
