Your daily role

Under the supervision of our Manager, Payroll Canada, you will be part of our pay team made up of 5 employees. Our team manages the pays of 9 sites in Canada in a unionized and non-syndicated environment.

 

The role:

  • Participation in the complete cycle of payroll treatment;
  • Collaboration in the administration of benefits;
  • Validation and entry of data relating to pay and benefits in systems;
  • Production of electronic employment statements;
  • Production of discounts to various organizations;
  • Development and production of reports for internal and external users;
  • Participation in the preparation of the end of year and in the quarterly audits;
  • Resulting person with HR employees of Canadian sites for pay and benefits;
  • Participation in the maintenance of the compliance of the payroll both in practices and in systems.

Your profile

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role both in unionized and non -unionized environments;
  • ACP certification and experience with the UKG solution and US pay (assets);
  • Rigor and detail concern;
  • Organization and priorities;
  • Analysis capacity;
  • Ability to work in a team;
  • concern for confidentiality;
  • Mastery of Excel (Dynamic Cross Functions and Tables);
  • Knowledge of labor laws and standards, tax treatment and government requirements related to pay.
