Main Responsibilities
- Perform installations, maintenance tasks, and layout changes, including setup of all machinery as directed by maintenance leadership while role-modeling a change-supportive mindset.
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of conveying equipment, including pumps, shakers, and related systems.
- Start up and monitor machines to detect malfunctions, making necessary adjustments and repairs.
- Focus on total workplace safety, ensuring the protection of all staff with ongoing preventative maintenance measures, and strict adherence to plant safety rules and regulations.
- Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and conduct all work safely in alignment with established policies and procedures.
- Document all maintenance activities and maintain accurate records in accordance with departmental expectations.
- Participate in training sessions and other learning opportunities to gain expertise in seaming equipment and related systems. Collaborating in a supportive environment, sharing ideas and insights with various designated individuals.

*The schedule expectation for this position is on a continental 12 hour rotating shift, every 2 weeks which may include statutory holidays, weekends, and evening hours. Overtime may also be included.
*Hourly wage range for this role is $41.63-$43.38 following confirmation of the 433A license.
Addition Requirements of this Position
- Industrial Millwright Mechanic (433A) certification is required for this role, or equivalent with minimum 2-3 years of relative experience – food processing knowledge is an asset
- Must be capable of speaking, reading, and writing English at a Level 3 requirement.
- Must meet basic dexterity requirements such as bending, twisting, reaching, grasping, crouching, stair/ladder climbing, working at heights, and must meet “heavy lifter” description at all times in this role.
- Specific visual abilities required for this position include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus, all of which are essential for inspecting machinery, reading technical drawings, aligning components, and performing precision repairs.
- The candidate may be required to help in all areas of the facility which may include hot, humid, wet, damp, soapy, dusty, dirty, loud/noisy, dimly lit work environments, etc.
- Must be technically trained or trainable in all aspects of plant equipment, systems, and platforms, including basic computer and mathematical competencies, and proficient in using the EAM work order system.
- Demonstrated ability to make quick, accurate decisions under pressure while consistently meeting tight operational deadlines.
- Scheduled shifts will require an open availability to support departmental operational needs on a continental shift, rotating every two weeks consisting of 8-12.5 hour shifts, driven by seasonality and project timelines. On-call assignments, statutory holidays, overtime, and weekends may fall within this continental rotation.
