Base salary
Your daily role
You'll invest the majority of your time in these key areas:
- Actively supervise and support maintenance staff to ensure safe and compliant operations, coordinating shift work, assigning tasks, and overseeing facility equipment and grounds maintenance.
- Enforce health, safety, and food safety regulations, promote plant safety programs, and demonstrate commitment to safety by leading by example.
- Coordinate and complete all necessary shift and maintenance documentation accurately and on time, including incident reporting and paperwork.
- Provide recommendations to improve efficiency, reduce downtime, and support capital improvement projects, with a focus on enhancing equipment, procedures, and techniques.
- Demonstrate strong technical skills, including electrical troubleshooting, mechanical equipment repair, welding, and hydraulic systems maintenance, with the flexibility to work weekends and off-shifts as needed.
- Responsible for snow removal - called in frequently during snow/freezing conditions
Your profile
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an industrial maintenance environment
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 3 plus years working as a skilled industrial maintenance, including troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems, hydraulic equipment repair, and general facility upkeep to support repack and distribution operations.
- 3 plus years experience in supervising maintenance staff, assigning tasks, ensuring accurate completion of reports, and maintaining organized documentation of shift activities and maintenance operations.
- Comfortable working 6 am to 2 pm, with the availability to work during heavy snow, called in frequently during snow/freezing conditions
